Dog

Key Words:
Love – Loyalty - Faithful

What is the spiritual Meaning or Essence of the Dog?
The spiritual meaning of the dog is unconditional love, loyalty, and faithful. Dog is telling you to consider these attributes in your life. What do you need? More of it or do you need to share more?

Why does the Dog appear now?
The dog will appear when summoned or when needed. A house is not a home without a dog, the dog will bring calm, peace and tranquillity. The dog is a great healer and will encourage the best out of people.

How do I call upon the Dog?
To call the dog simply believe it will come. The dog has a very subtle energy that takes time to recognise. A dog that has passed to spirit will stay with you forever, to call upon them is to remember them and they will come close.

The spiritual meaning of the dog is "Unconditional Love." The symbolism of the dog is knowing how to love without condition. With the dog as your spirit animal it will assume any one of the nine positions as required by you. As a spirit guide the dog is a great healer, as a spiritual companion it will walk by your side and never leave, as a guardian the dog will shapeshift to suit time, place and circumstance.

Cwn Annwn (coon anun) is a pack of nine dogs that save souls and escort them to a place of peace, love and harmony. Anyone who heard them in the distance could foretell their own death. The dogs quieten as they approach and will be seen before death, they escort the soul into the afterlife and bring peace to those that are left behind.

Dog has been man’s best friend for at least fifteen thousand years, it is documented across the globe of the dog’s service to man throughout the ages.

When the Dog enters your life, you can expect changes to commence, cut the ties that restrict your freedom. It is good to be led sometimes but be aware that it is also good to exercise without constraint. The fine line between duty and servitude is sometimes crossed so now is the time to relinquish the ties, set out your table and allow everyone to recognise your full potential.

If the dog is put in a room with a group of people it is quite capable of choosing its master, providing companionship, faithfulness and loyalty,  it will share its love unconditionally with all that is around. Dog spirit teaches us many things and with an intelligence that is different to ours and an ancestry that is equal to ours we have lived together in many lives. We have mutually trusted each other to provide for each other’s differing needs and wants.

The life span of a human life is far longer than that of a dog, the dog has different needs, different things to accomplish. A life force stream comes in many guises with none more important than the other, a wise man once said when the pupil is ready the master will appear, the dog chooses his master as the master will choose his dog, mutual respect and understanding means both will prosper.

The Wolf has evolved from the epitome of a wild savage earth spirit into mans best friend. Man has evolved from the savagery of a cave existence into the gentle domesticity of modern life. The dog has provided us with early warnings and protection and we have provided dog with food, shelter and domesticity, both of us learning to reach the medium of unconditional love.
