Ladybird

Key Words:
Innocence - Fun - Creativity

What is the spiritual Meaning or Essence of Ladybird?
Ladybird brings fun and frivolity with carefree abandon.

Why does Ladybird appear now?
Ladybird will take your worries and release them safely back to nature. Druantia Queen of the Fae will happily dispose of all woe.

How do I call upon Ladybird?
Ladybird appears before you and is the surprise you didn’t know you wanted. Sit beneath the Fir or Ash and she will come.

The triskel, trisquelle or triquetra is full of celtic legend, wiccan, pagan and druid all have something to bring to your attention. The ladybird brings a united and ancient legacy encouraging the seeker to understand. As Freya brings Love, Fertility and Fecundity from the east at springtime, she also wakens the ladybird from her slumber and encourages the ladybird to bring the power of three to you to explore.
The ladybird also known as the ladybug should be one of our most celebrated bugs, but it isn’t a bug. It is however one of the most understated totem entities within the spiritual worlds. Ladybird encourages luck into your favour, brings a sense of fun to all occasions and she is the keeper of secrets, knowing the naughtiness that remains forever hidden.

Druantia Celtic Queen of the Fae is known to reside in the silver fir, or pine tree. Coming out at night and hiding by day at the north side or residing within the tree. The ladybird will return each night and reside within the folds of the south side of the tree.
Druantia encourages frivolity with all she encounters full of life, fun loving and full of mischief. While the ladybird brings calm, patience and respectful quiet to the surroundings. As there is night, there is day with each complimenting the other.

The three dots on each wing of the ladybird are representative of Abred, Gwyned and Ceugant these being the circles of existence the past, the present and the future. The Ash tree in Nordic Legend is known as Ygdrassil the tree that holds the nine worlds. To look across English pastures in winter this tree is obvious, it holds its fruits until the summer and warmer climates. To sit beneath this tree in the summer and the ladybird will come, allow her to share and she will give you the secrets of Hugin and Muginn ravens of the great god Odin. Odin was a man who hung from his feet at dawn waiting for his ravens return at dusk he was seeking the power over thought and mind. The ladybirds are known to the Ash the three circles of three circles bringing nine worlds together and the power of three given to all who seek.

From the Nordic tribes to the Germanic warriors, the Scandinavian romance to the heritage of the Celts. The good luck bug also known as the ladybird holds the secret you seek, appreciate and encourage her to visit and she will know how to give you the guidance wanted.
