I have produced a series of Videos, A Book, Episodes and Chapters titled The Energy Chronicles. This video relating to Lucid Dreaming was released "exclusively" on Patreon seven days earlier than its general release.
Most of my work will now be released through Patreon first and as a subscriber to Patreon you will have exclusive previews and opportunities not afforded to others, including the opportunity to suggest future videos and shape the future of this site.
Many Thanks for showing an interest in my work and sharing the energies.
Lucid dreaming is the art of knowing you are dreaming when you are dreaming. One great advantage to lucid dreaming is that once you realise you are dreaming you can control destiny and reality becomes the advantage you have been looking for. Lucid dreams are potentially the experiment for physical reality… physical reality being defined as living. It is quite possible to merge the reality of dreams with physical reality and to actually realise potential opportunities in our physical life.
Lucid dreaming can be described as knowing when you are dreaming, the obvious connotation to this is waking up during a nightmare and believing the night mare is still happening. We have all done it, been woken by a nightmare and taken minutes to realise we are back in the physical world before we calm down enough to appreciate it was a bad dream. If we can remember the bad dream for long enough we will release the cause of the anxiety in our physical life and by doing so prevent the bad dream from happening again.
Nightmares are an extreme example of potential lucid dreams.
Most people if asked the question: “Have you ever realised you were dreaming whilst you were dreaming?” They will answer yes.
If they are asked: “What did you do about it?” Most people will say “I relaxed and enjoyed it, then forgot I was in a dream.”
Lucid Dreaming is an amazing way of dealing with and overcoming problems and ranges from controlling nightmares to controlling situations in our everyday lives.
My daughter when she was young suffered terribly with night terrors, to the point where she would run around the house in her sleep checking doors and windows were locked. All of us suffered this for many weeks at least twice each week, it was traumatic for all of us to experience. My daughter would recount the terror second by second and explain everything that was going on. We tried the letter before bedtime, where she would write us a letter and describe her day, we tried a secret diary that she could write in it before bed and only us knew of it, we reached our wits end and were grasping at straws. She explained she was always being chased and she could feel the breath of whatever was chasing her on her neck so: “I asked if she ever thought about letting whatever was chasing her, run past her.”
She thought about it and asked why?
I explained: “That this blue dog that meaowed like a cat, had a tail like a fish and a nose like an elephant wasn’t chasing her… it was actually running away from me. I was trying to catch it because it had escaped from a zoo, it kept frightening people because it kept sticking its nose in peoples ears and meaowing, I had told my mate who owns the zoo I would help catch it.”
My daughter looked at me and said: “REALLY” in her most grown up voice.
I stated that next time she finds herself running away from this thing she is to make a massive jump to one side and watch this thing run past with me chasing it, if she listens carefully she will hear it laughing like a cat and meaowing because it likes to tease me.
My beautiful 5 year old daughter proudly announced the next morning that this animal wasn’t even very scary to look at and she asked me if I had caught it, to which I replied he is very crafty but I will not give up until he is caught.
I must confess that this was more than twenty years ago and at that time my knowledge of lucid dreams was virtually non-existent.
I never did get to the bottom of what caused these night terrors but in some small way my daughter learned how to cope with monsters.
One of the hardest things to do in a dream is recognise that you are actually dreaming and yet once basic techniques are learned it is like every learning curve it becomes easier with practice. The example I gave earlier with my daughter was running away, it was this clue that allowed her to respond to the dream and take control. All of us are capable of recognising a trigger during a dream and getting the realisation that we are in the middle of a dream so we can take control of it.
Some of the more obvious clues are:
- Timelines don’t match up.
- Being in one place and being in another place without effort.
- Achieving so much in such short spaces of time.
- Meeting idols or celebrities.
- Doing activities that would be impossible normally.
“If you can dream, and not make dreams your master,
If you can think and not make thoughts your aim.”
It is the understanding of dream state and the understanding of the density of physical reality that potentially will enhance our lives,
Whilst writing this, I dreamed I was on a cruise liner and was engaging in normal everyday things that people do on cruise-liners. (I have never been on a cruise-liner and have never worked on one either.) In my dream I had no idea I was dreaming until I was supposed to meet up with an old friend, I understood this old friend in my dream to be Chinese but in reality he is from Morocco. I questioned this in my dream and woke up but because I knew I had been dreaming I went back to sleep and continued the dream.
Once I actually physically woke up I realised I had experienced a lucid dream and could recount the whole dream minute by minute.
I have heard many people recount experiences, one woman recounted a door being stuck at work, it didn’t open as expected and caused her to injure her hand in the dream. When she went to work a few days later the door was stuck and instead of pushing harder she walked round and pulled the door… as expected the door handle broke and she avoided injury.
Projecting positivity in our everyday lives and promoting positivity in everything we say and do shouldn’t be confined to our everyday lives, by using lucid dreams and controlling our dreams we can have the holidays we can’t afford, we can do the things we wouldn’t ordinarily do and we can make the world a better place. If all of us can adopt the attitude of; Think it; believe it; receive it; then maybe all of us will manifest our physical reality from our dreams.
Some of the ways to enhance lucid dreams are:
- To keep a dreams journal, get into the habit of a daily entry.
- Sleep schedule is important.
- Affirmation of intention to dream
- Decide before you dream what the trigger is going to be, deciding that a blue dog will be the clue to you being in a dream-state.
