Arch-Angel Michael
Who is Arch-Angel Michael?
Arch-Angel Michael, is known by many titles and has many descriptions. “Protector” is just one.
What is Arch-Angel Michaels purpose?
Arch-Angel Michael is a leader, a pre-cursor to a higher being. He will appear and introduce others.
Why is Arch-Angel Michael here?
Arch-Angel Michael affords protection for all; he provides strength to all who ask; encourages mercy to be given.
Arch-Angel Michael is the hero, the icon, the idol, he is the epitome of peoples perception of what an Arch-Angel should look like.
Standing in the South facing North, he stands in a blaze of glory, the shining sun behind him as he steps forward to welcome you with arms outstretched ready to embrace you.
Arch-Angel Michael brings the presence of an angel, a serene angelic majesty. He alarms no one, encourages all and with a single look controls every situation.
With wings outstretched behind him and wearing clothes made from the purest gold thread, a cloak from the finest golden silks, he wears the emblem of a lion on his chest. The sharpest red, the deepest purple and the brightest gold, Arch-Angel Michael is the one who shines, he is: the healer, the protector, the face of God.
In his many roles and the multiple roles within the Angel Hierarchy, as Seraphim, as Cherub, Guardian and Arch-Angel, it is Arch-Angel that he is most popular. From Islamic Quran, Jewish Tanakh, the Christian and Catholic Bible come stories of the multiple roles Michael fulfilled.
The Greek Magical Papyri claim Michael as a deity.
The Church of England celebrate the feast of Saint Michael 8th May, Arch-Angel Michael is also a Patron Saint of Cornwall.
The Garabandal Apparitions 1961 – 1965 contain references to Saint Michael the Arch-Angel.
