Bruce Clifton Colour: Silver/white, Gold/white Four directions Sense: Touch The Palm chakras consist of at least 7 key chakras one for each finger and thumb, one in wrist joint and one in the palm of the hand. With many smaller chakras working with these. The Right Palm chakra turns in an Anti-clockwise direction whilst the Left Palm turns in a clockwise Direction one being the reflection of the other. The left palm is the sun rise whilst the right palm is the sun set. Yin and Yang, also interpreted as the moon and the sun, the divine feminine against masculine. These chakras are considered to be minor energy centres that contribute towards the seven main Chakras. The Palm chakras along with the Feet chakras are the forgotten ones and yet as important as the main 7. Our right palm chakra is probably the most used and probably most contaminated. For those that are right handed this chakra comes into contact with more pollutants, surfaces, contacts than any other part of the human anatomy and yet we wash it with possibly a hand scrub, quickly to rid our palm of possible bacteria. We then proceed to shake someones hand? A simple question here is; How many times have you shook a hand and felt icky? The energy transfer was not good and the chances are you discretely wiped your hand on your tie or placed it flat on a table or something similar, without a thought to the fact that the other energy was not compatible to your own. After the meeting and maybe later in the day some of you may have developed stomach problems stemming from the solar plexus cleansing the incoming energies, or maybe a head ache because natural intuition (brow chakra) is desperately trying to warn you.
When we meet someone it is perfectly natural to twist slightly and extend our right hand in friendship, this is because we are not only giving our hand in friendship, we are directing our energy... We volunteer our energy to them along with friendship... Different cultures across the planet have moved towards this greeting and many of the old energy conservative ways have gone.
Cultures across the planet recognise how receptive our palms are, the left palm being closer to the heart is more receptive then the right. When working with spirit we should always trust and recieve with the left palm, when we give always give with the right. Normally our right side is the stronger and the more resilient. When buying crystals use left palm to hover over the crystal without touching, by touching it does two things it contaminates crystal with your energy and also introduces your physical sense of touch, which will confuse your natural sense of knowing. If buying crystals hover your left hand over it before personalising it by holding it.
Our natural intuition will normally take our palms to where they should be, gut instinct or a problem involving someone else and you will sit naturally with palms over stomach (gut) area, an argument will find your left palm resting on throat area, (poor communication), contemplating a material problem and right palm will find it's way to your head, depression will find your palms at the base chakra, (between your legs or sitting on them), excitement and they will cover the heart chakra. Our bodies are great natural healers but over time we have become products of our environment and have trained ourselves not to show emotion and not to allow our palms to move naturally.
Once again the palm chakras stimulate the throat chakra, with regard to communication. The Heart chakra with regard to feeling emotion and touching, sensuality. The Brow chakra with regard to our sixth sense and feeling our way ahead. We should not treat the Palm chakras as minor energy centres, they are only minor because we have become products of our environment.
A method of cleaning and balancing these chakras is to stand barefoot on grass and bring hands together as if in prayer leaving a small space between palms and ask for all energies to work together for the greater good. Setting the intent for natural energies to cleanse and replenish your own.
An unbalanced or dirty Chakra is a potential cause for the body to physically or mentally manifest a variety of illnesses. If medical science is unable to diagnose an underlying cause or if the ailment is random or instant then this is potentially a cause worth considering.
Another quick compliment to a daily work out, is to stand facing south with arms outstretched left palm facing east and right palm facing west and welcome the energies of your day. Also give praise to the north who will later replenish your energies as you sleep.
