What is the spiritual meaning or essence of Owl? 
Owl is the keeper of secrets and the oracle of all worldly wisdom.

Why does the Owl appear now?
Owl is ready to share something, a pearl of wisdom, a piece of the jigsaw, it comes bearing gifts that only you can recognise.

How do I call upon Owl?
Owl has the unique gift of radar, it knows when it is needed. Look to the night sky under a new moon and you might be lucky enough to see it coming towards you. Listen and you might hear it. It is only when you hear your own quiet that owl will be ready to reveal its secrets to you.

Owl has always been recognised as the wise one, the law maker, dr, professor, politician, the one that others look to for advice. Owl has mastered the art of knowing what is good, knowing how to learn, knowing how to communicate... effectively... with few words to tramps and kings alike.

Owl is a provider of truth, it is the bringer of light to a difficult situation. The truth hurts only those that avoid it, Owl will lessen the pain by being direct and bringing the truth into the light for all to see. Owl enjoys the shadows and can hide when necessary but a blink of an eye and it is seen with enormous impact by the people who least expected to see it.

Like an eagle it waits for the right time to strike, and when it is ready it will swoop and deliver one fatal blow to its prey to which its prey can not recover. With each strike the Owl grows in stature and reputation and its territory expands, its voice gets louder, its family relishes in the new freedoms afforded to them.

Owl allows new perspectives to be seen, to reach dizzying heights and cover wider areas, to see every detail, calculate every odd, pursue every dream. Owl as a predator discovers new dreams and enables the obstacles to be removed. 

Travelling between worlds, exploring new concepts, keeping the wisdom of the forefathers, the elders. Inheriting wisdom and carrying incarnations forward, the Akashic records and heritage from the ancestors is all carried forward and passed to future generations. Owl is the keeper of secrets and will share with the Oak Tree knowing that from small acorns large Oak trees grow. Ancestoral knowledge is just one way of inheriting and passing on good fortune.

You have no secrets from Owl, just as you have no secrets from the trees, Owl will befriend honesty, appreciate those in need, and encourage prosperity in all things. Owl has been known to escort lost souls into the afterlife and encourage lost souls to find purpose. If Owl befriends you, you are in good company and the teacher has found the student.
